Doheny Longboard Surfing Association would like to invite your club to our Coalition Team Points Sanctioned event at Church Surf Break San Onofre State Park, March 22 and 23, 2025.
2025 Rincon Invitational
Thanks to our public service efforts all these years, the Pacific Beach Surf Club has once again been invited to the Rincon Invitational 2025.
PBSC will be surfing at 8:00am on Saturday the 15th.
La Jolla Surf: Culture, Art, Craft
The exhibition La Jolla Surf: Art, Culture, Craft invites viewers into the world of surfing through iconic photography by Roy Porello, Jeff Divine, and Ron Church, original artwork by award winning designer John van Hamersveld, and surf boards from the greatest shapers in the region. A central focus of the exhibition is original interview footage with local surfers created by Curator John Durant. Visitors will hear firsthand accounts of how the surfing community developed, how it has evolved over time, and the powerful connection to, and appreciation of the ocean and nature that surfing engenders. All club members and their guests come join in for some holiday cheer at the PBSC Headquarters on Turquoise St!
As an added bonus, we are joining up with the Surf Lounge for a Holiday Shopping Sale featuring unique gifts from a variety of local vendors, including clothing designers, photographers, jewelers, and more.
As usual we will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for the toy drive, so bring some goodies to help spread holiday cheer to a deserving young child.k

2024 San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame was created out of the surfing community’s response to our Skip Frye Tribute presented during our 2017 San Diego Surf Film Festival. We began the festival in 2012 and every year we pick a surfing legend to represent one of our film awards and Skip became the obvious choice to be the 2017. We saved the “Spirit of the Festival” award for Skip knowing it would be perfect for Skip’s soul style.
